Volunteer With Us….
Volunteers are the heart of Living in Freedom Ministries. Whether teaching a class, mentoring women, helping with events, or supporting our reentry efforts, every volunteer plays a vital role in bringing hope and healing to those we serve. There are many ways to get involved and make a lasting impact. Join us in sharing the love of Christ and helping others find true freedom.
Ways to Volunteer…
-

Serve Behind the Walls
You can make a powerful difference by volunteering Behind the Walls in our local detention facilities. Volunteers lead Bible studies, classes, and share the hope of Christ with incarcerated women. It’s an opportunity to bring light into dark places, offer encouragement, and walk with women as they discover freedom and transformation through God’s Word.
-

Become a Mentor
Becoming a mentor is a meaningful way to walk alongside women who are newly released and beginning a new chapter of life. As a mentor, you offer encouragement, guidance, and a listening ear as they navigate the challenges of reentry. Through genuine connection, you can help women grow in confidence, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and step into lasting freedom and purpose.

Welcome Basket Ministry
Our Welcome Basket Ministry extends love and compassion to women newly released from incarceration by providing baskets filled with basic needs and essentials. Each basket includes items like hygiene products, snacks, and personal care supplies, simple things that make a big difference as they start over. It’s a tangible way to show God’s love, remind them they’re not alone, and help them take their first steps toward a fresh start with dignity and hope.
